Situated within the City of Westminster, Paddington is not only famous for the cute and needy bear but also for it's huge railway station, designed by the celebrated engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, which serves as a hub for all travel within London and further out to the rest of the UK. Currently Paddington is going through a major redevelopment and regeneration program aimed at updating many of the older, more run down areas. One such program is called the Paddington Waterside project which aims to regenerate former railway and canal land, providing new housing and commercial sites which will no doubt be a boost to the local economy.
