Partly in the City of Westminster and partly in the London Borough of Camden, Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks of London. The area is a plush, green and highly affluent part of London with the Park itself being one of the nicest in London and often frequented by celebrities who are local residents having a morning jog. The Park landscape which has to be seen was designed by the renowned architect John Nash and covers some 480 acres on a site that was once used by King Henry VIII as a hunting ground. Regent's Park of course is also home to London Zoo and the Regent's University London amongst other attractions. The architecture is impressive throughout the area with grand old houses and impressive mansion blocks and apartments.
